Mikumo is a newbie and weak anyways, somehow it makes sense that he acts like that, ya know when a weak guy suddenly feels powerful. Frustrating, but somewhat realistic.

well it paid him a great deal later on. this was the best thing he could've ever experienced, instead of experiencing it later on. (as this wasn't "killing" chika, but his action only led to be her be a trion cube)

but what you'll hate is how slow his reaction towards this event was (the next episode i think) he was doing a dilemma drama after chika turned into a cube like it's the end of the world he failed to protect what chika's brother told him to protect and bla bla bla annoying weak mikumo lowering his self-confidence even further.

yea. I was hoping he was gonna be smart but they are making him too naive and stupid to be likeable. the author needs to do better when writing characters like him. pacing is important. if he was stupid from the beginning that's fine. but by now we should start seeing less and less naive thinking and more creative solutions to get out in a pinch. even if he loses, we would be getting the seeds sown that he has potential. instead we only got a few minor incidents (what 2/3?) and it's undone when he does stupid stuff like this.

Mikumo is so stupid. Misunderstanding/ thinking that what works on trion soldiers would also work on neighbors, it doesn’t work that way. Tactics applicable for certain kinds of enemies will not work on every enemy.

All mikumo did the whole 30 eps were to run and atleast defeat 1 weak enemy and celebrate for it lmaooo. I swear he be getting in my nerves since 1st ep what a fckn useless guy. They already knew the Neighbors invade to prey upon the humans and even after knowing Chika's Trion meter is waay beyong normal why would they put Chika's protection under Osamu who's obviously weaker than her and the rest of the agents? They -and I mean JIN should've told the HQ about her and the huge target on her back from the very beginning! Their strongest agent, Amo has already finished doing his job and is just a sitting duck somewhere out there, bored and eating Potato chips when he could've been protecting the Rank Cs and Chika from this S-rank Neighbor who's obviously preying on them...😒

that's why you really can't give osamu a huge boost in trion immediately as he can turn into a power hungry entitled kid thinking because he has lots of trion he can just overpower them with sheer trion.

this was one of the scenes I really hated osamu for but also one of the best scene he develop as he now refuse any power boost from other people unless it's 100% necessary.
